China Trader Antiques -Stone

The majority of the stone products in our inventory are modern copies of classic antique pieces. This is by plan, as it would not be appropriate (or legal) to export important religious stone items from Asia. Our imports are designed to give us “art” not “antique” stone whose beauty can be enjoyed in our homes. On occasion, I acquire antique sculpture and stone from private clients or auctions in the West. These antique stones have a value based on age, as well as style. Actual antique stones will be identified in the description of each item.

We bring containers in to the U.S. every three to four months, and our prices make that wait worthwhile. If you have a particular product or item you are looking for, I will gladly search for it
for you.

Please note that there is a tremendous amount of incorrectly marked stone products that come from China in the marketplace today. It takes a trained eye to tell if a stone is molded or carved, new or antique. Be assured that China Trader Antiques will be as honest with you as our knowledge permits.
